Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Fee picked up nothing immediately dangerous, though the pair was certainly different. They made no talk on the way back either. Once they reached the car, Heidegger opened the passenger door for Scarlet. She turned back to Fee and Weiss.
"I'm most impressed by Deepground's potential. What is it?" she asked. "Seiger P.S."
"Seiger P.S.," Weiss saluted.
Heidegger shut the door behind her, moved to the driver side and stopped for just a moment. He turned to the pair. Then he looked up at the medical building to see Argento and Ragnarok in the window, watching them. "Remember, the strongest rise to the top of Deepground. The Tsviets will always be commanded by the strongest. However, strength alone has no purpose in Neo-Midgar. You'll need loyalty as well. Seiger P.S."

"I'm most impressed by Deepground's potential. What is it?" she asked. "Seiger P.S."
"Seiger P.S." then with a smile before Heidegger shut the door she added. "I would love to work... Closely, with you again." (Charm 75)
She really didn't care if she worked with the woman again or not. Scarlet felt entitled of her position, if her reaction to Ragnarok was any indication, and could be a potential source of trouble. Being flirtatious and seeming open to working with her was just a way of potentially opening a door to taking the woman out if need be.

Once more F3-L1-X wondered if this was an empty promise. It almost sounded like a warning. So she returned the salute and nodded.
"The world hears a lot about Sephiroth. It never hears about the dogs locked in their cages. A little freedom could do wonders for moral. As for me, I am happy to serve. It is why I was made. Seiger P.S."

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Just before leaving, Scarlet gave a sort of sly smile at Fee with a raised eyebrow. Who knows what potential that held. Regardless, they drove off.
Weiss's younger brother cleared his throat behind them. "Ragnarok wants to see you, Fee," Nero said. Â The black cloud started to emanate from his body but he managed to reel it back in.

F3-L1-X wasn't surprised that a report was needed. She thanked Nero and headed for where Ragnarok would be waiting. She saluted with Seiger P.S. and awaited his command.

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok had moved on from his awkward throne room. He was in the area called the "Boiler." Networks of thick pipes carrying steam, mako, and who knows what else rose out from various heat-dispersing units attached to Mako Reactor 0 somewhere far below. A pool of Mako could be seen below. Ragnarok was holding some DG scrub over the green liquid by his skull before letting him go. He watched with mild interest as the man dissolved in the green Lifestream.
He turned to Fee, almost surprised to see her. Did he forget he ordered her? With a groan, he leaned against the railing. It wobbled beneath him a bit and he lowered himself to the catwalk. Argento wasn't far behind him. Was she his bodyguard, lover, medic, or all three?
Ragnarok sighed and thunked the red materia in his chest. "Ever since those bastards put this in me, well..." he wheezed a bit, trying to regain his strength. The truth was, even the simplest exertion seemed to tax him. He felt he'd aged a decade since arriving at Deepground. "What's your read on Scarlet?"

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X made no move to get closer to him. He trusted Argento, and she thought he trusted her too since he was one of the few to call her Fee, but it was better not seem like a threat.
"What's your read on Scarlet?"
"She will be trouble. I worry that she and Heidegger may be up to something but have no proof. She said she was happy with our potential and I tried to flirt with her so that she may be more open to me. Overall though... We need to be cautious. However she got her position, ahe feels entitled to have it and that we are beneath her."

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok shook his head. "When I was out there, Scarlet was an engineer in the Weapons Research Department. She, under the guidance of Director Kitas, developed powerful machines for war all with a control chip. She wrote an article about a year and a half about wondering if the control chip could be modified for organics. Implanted in the Anti-Shinra Union operatives. The called it the Dociliator."
He stared up at her before standing.

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X was quiet for a moment as she processed the information.
"What if she attempts it on Deepground instead of the Anti-Shinra Union?"
F3-L1-X knew that if a control chip used on a Tsviet, it could be disastrous. If they were under someone else's control, then it was entirely possible that Deepground could have a traitor. One that may not even know they were a traitor.

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok steadied himself with Argento's aid. "Close to my own superstitions. She's going to make her case to the President that we need control and this is the method for it. If this is the Company's wish, there's not much we can do to resist it." He paused for a moment before adding, "Ourselves."
Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
"Ourselves."
F3-L1-X was not surprised that there was a bit more. Ragnarok and Deepground were not the types to sit back and just accept the unworthy controlling them.
"Is there someone you know that could potentially help?"

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok grimaced a bit and turned away from her, looking over the mako pool far below. "SOLDIER Unit 13, my old fighting force."
Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X was intrigued by this.
"Would they really be willing to help us with this? It could mean betraying Shinra."

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok kept staring at the mako. "They owe me. They'd do it. I need someone to inform them that I'm still alive. And of what's happened to me."
Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X had an idea where this was going.
"Would you like for me to go? I would need some directions on how to find them. And how to convince them."

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
"And how to escape Deepground," Ragnarok said. Unless Shinra requests us for a very rare mission, it won't happen. Escape was impossible and the reprisals would be severe. "Getting word to their new commander, Beatrix, would be goal. She'd understand and her sense of honor is strong. She'd come to my aid. Likely they'd be on the war front in Wutai but..." He trailed off. "Not like this will matter anyway. We're stuck down here until they let us out."
Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X thought for a moment.
"Escape could draw a lot of attention. Perhaps the visit from earlier could mean a possible mission? Either way, I will serve to the best of my abilities Ragnarok. What do you advise?"

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok shook his head for now. An escape would be near impossible. But would Heidegger and Scarlet have need for him or one of his Deepground SOLDIERs? Really, their only missions were to retrieve those injured on the battlefield. Sephiroth typically meant no one got injured anymore. He slammed his fist on the railing, then groaned and clutched his chest. "Damn it."
Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
F3-L1-X cocked her head.
"What if there was an issue here? Something like... Cataract. If he or one of the others broke loose and got out of the facility, the Tsviets may need to help with rou ding them up. Show off we can be useful outside more often?"
Sitting and waiting would do them little good.

Re: Deepground Facility: Ragnarok
Ragnarok raised his eyebrow. He hadn't thought of that. A smirk appeared on his face. "Get Cataract fixed up and figure out a way to release him into the slums. I need to rest. This exertion..." He rubbed his chest over the materia, groaned a bit and started along the catwalk to the hospital.
Argento watched him head out. "Guess we have work to do."
((You can take some liberties here with Cataract))
